Industry music leaders from BMI, Live
Nation, Shorefire PR, and the National Jazz Museum visited the MUyaNY
Music Unites Choir to speak to the students about their careers in
music. It was an inspiring and educational day as the panel gave career
advice and spoke about their journey to where they are today. Thank you
to Jonathan Batiste (National Jazz Museum music curator and co director/
Jazz musician), Rebecca Shapiro (Founder/ VP, Shorefire PR), Lisa Luego
(Live Nation Senior Director, Marketing Solutions), and Samantha Cox
(Senior Director, Writer/Publisher Relations BMI).
