MUSIC UNITES PARTNERS WITH BEBE STORES AND KATE NASH

On February 9, 2011, Music Unites partnered with bebe Stores Inc. and Kate Nash to announce the kickoff of Kate Nash’s Rock ‘N Roll for Girls After School Music Club, and Music Unites’ GRAMMY Museum Backstage Pass Empowering Women Through Music Panel Series. Kate Nash signed guitars donated by bebe, which will later be donated to the Women’s Excellence Academy in the Bronx. bebe stores nationwide will unveil Valentine’s Day windows created around the theme “Addicted to Love.” Store windows will feature mannequins holding guitars that are replicas of Robert Palmer’s 1986 “Addicted to Love.” These guitars will be donated to Music Unites for fundraising efforts and for distribution to music students throughout the U.S., a number of them signed by Kate.
