One of our newest partnerships and our flagship program in Chicago. Music Unites supports the school with purchasing brand new instruments for all students and in-school and after-school programs. Currently, we have a song-writing program at Benito Juarez, under the guidance of Program Manager Kirk Sells.

In collaboration with Pepsi co. Inc. the Music Unites Pepsi 153 Chorus is a youth chorus that focuses on the fundamentals of music while learning and preforming some of the most influential music of our time. One of Music Unites Pepsi 153 chorus most recent performances has been in the heart of New York City at the “Annie” Movie Red Carpet Premiere.

The Youth Choir, our flagship program, is a diverse and exciting performance ensemble made up of public high school students from the 5 boroughs of New York City. Music Unites Youth Choir has performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The United Nations, and alongside recording artists Java Notti, The Roots, and TV on the radio.

The Women’s Academy of Excellence Program is geared towards mentoring and educating students on array of careers in the Music industry. MU provides scholars with an insight into the Music Industry through panel discussion with Music Industry experts who share information with our scholars regarding their careers, educational paths, and professional passions. The purpose of this program is to enhance student’s understanding of the Music Industry, enhance student’s passion for music and help students achieve their goals as aspiring musicians and as dedicated students.
