THE YANY MUSIC UNITES YOUTH CHOIR PERFORMS AT MICHAEL DORF’S MUSIC OF THE ROLLING STONES AT CARNEGIE HALL

On March 13, 2012, Michael Dorf’s annual concert at Carnegie Hall this year honoring the Rolling Stones benefited music education programs in underprivileged districts. Rosanne Cash, Steve Earle, the Carolina Chocolate Drops and others performed 21 tracks from the Rolling Stones class collection “Hot Rocks 1964-1971 on the 40th anniversary of its release. The proceeds went to support nonprofit organizations that provide music classes to impoverished youths, among them the Church Street School of Music, Young Audiences, Music Unites and the Pinwheel Project. The Young Audiences New York Music Unites Youth Choir performed alongside TV On The Radio.
